I help socially responsible organizations solve wicked problems related to economic security, to help build a more human-centered, humane economy and deliver positive, holistic, and tangible impact.

I have particular experience working in financial inclusion, financial policy, microfinance, and financial empowerment. Increasingly, I am looking at the relationship between climate change and economic security, and how impact investing, improving access to capital, and new systems of social accounting can address critical gaps between how our financial system operates, and how it needs to operate to deliver a more sustainable and inclusive economy.

In my work, I combine quantitative modeling skills with holistic systems thinking to find actionable strategic insights. Or in plain English: I can take complicated issues, analyze and break them apart, run the numbers, and give recommendations that are clever, concise, and clear.

A 2015 Queen Elizabeth Scholar, I am a graduate of the Munk School of Global Affairs & Public Policy at the University of Toronto and graduated from Dalhousie University with a Bachelor of Science in Economics & Philosophy (minor in Political Science), including the first-year intensive Dalhousie Integrated Science Program (DISP).

I am a firm believer in listening before leaping to conclusions and focusing above all on the long-term impact we can have on and with others.
